We've been part of outshine for a few years now, and it's been an amazing experience for my kids. The teachers are caring and dedicated, making learning enjoyable. The small class sizes mean more personalized attention, and the center also offers fun activities that help them develop more skills. Communication with teachers has been easy, and regular updates on my child's progress keep me in the loop. All in all, I highly recommend OUTSHINE for parents looking for an afterschool program and interest-oriented classes.

Joseph and (S)herry Komen are flexible with scheduling, incredibly supportive of their students, and provide a safe environment. Joseph is helping our student keep up with with middle school advanced math. We have seen a huge difference in comprehension and grades. Our student is so much more confident and will no doubt have a solid foundation for high school math. We are very pleased and plan to continue with Outshine as needed.

My daughter has been going to Outshine for almost a year now and I plan to enroll my UTK daughter soon too. They pick up from Adobe Elementary ( can do both UTK early pick up and regular K-5 pick up), which was initially the biggest appeal for us. And we've grown to really appreciate the more family-like setting and relationships with Mr. and Mrs. Komen and their staff. As another parent mentioned they treat the kids like their own. When I pick my oldest up she always wants to stay longer. There's also a good overlap and separation of the older kids and younger kids, which we personally like with siblings. The younger kids can watch and observe the older kids and vice versa with older kids perhaps mentoring the younger ones. Outshine offers Mandarin, math and additional extra curriculars like dance so although not as many choices has structure and a playful approach to learning.
